As you can see, there is quite a variation in our saskatoons at this early point in the season, but getting those ripe saskatoons is so worthwhile! That first fresh burst of wild sweetness is amazing! We are open this Saturday, July 21st, from 9 am to 6 pm. Our U-pick strawberries are still not … Continue reading Come on Out! Early Season Picking
I hope everyone is excitedly calling their friends and family, and planning their excursion out to Sweet Life Saskatoons! The occasional saskatoon is ready now, and the same with our strawberries, but we will need to be patient before we officially open. I’m always nervous about choosing the opening date, but it’s looking like we’ll be ready … Continue reading Gather Your Picking Pals!
Obviously, summer isn’t here yet, but with the blossoms just starting to appear on our saskatoons, I can’t help but get excited for summer and start thinking ahead. This spring we have planted some Valentine Cherries that should produce fruit this summer, and Juliet Cherries that will need some time to grow. We’ve also added … Continue reading 2018 Sweet Life Summer
The u-pick portion of our farm is over, but there is still lots of work to do. Good thing I have a willing helper! Looking back over the past three weeks, I am filled with joy! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has blessed our farm with their presence. Being able … Continue reading The U-Pick is Closed for the Season
Tomorrow is August 10, and we will still be open for the saskatoon and sour cherry u-pick, as well as Friday, August 11. That’s all I’ll promise for now, but if we’re lucky, we’ll be able to squeak in one more weekend. Keep watching this site, or our Facebook page for updated information! Continue reading Still Going

All choices are good, and the end result is saskatoons … Continue reading Time is of the essence!
I know many people love the idea of coming out to enjoy the experience of picking saskatoons; watching those buckets fill up with beautiful, juicy saskatoons, (tasting them right off the tree while they are at it!) and planning all the ways they will put the saskatoons to good use for friends and family to … Continue reading Procrastinators…now is the time!
We are planning to run our berry harvester along some of our saskatoonrows this weekend, which means fresh fruit and a sweet price for you! We will be selling pre-picked saskatoons straight from the machine at a cost of $12/4L bucket. Naturally, we will still have rows for you to pick your own buckets … Continue reading Straight from the harvester

You can check out the pie recipes I posted on an earlier blog, or you can test your baking skills with the scones that everyone raves about. Here is the … Continue reading Now that your pail is full…
We had a wonderful turn out yesterday for our official ‘First Day’ of the season. Children were enjoying playing in the sand, swinging and climbing, and filling small pails with saskatoons, and the adults enjoyed the peaceful setting and the wonderful abundance of saskatoons!
