This long weekend, take the time to get your saskatoons either hand-picked fresh off the trees by yourself (a wonderfully relaxing and satisfying experience), or fresh off the harvester ( a quick solution for large amounts in a short time), or machine-picked and lightly sorted. All choices are good, and the end result is saskatoons that you can enjoy now and later on throughout the year.
Don’t forget that we also have ‘u-pick’ sour cherries while supplies last. These are delicious in jams and pies, or my personal favourite..smoothies.
We are winding down with the u-pick, although our closing day is still uncertain, but we will be open today, Sunday and Monday for sure, from 9 am to 7 pm.
